She believes that therapy is a deeply collaborative and relational journey, where fostering a safe space for authentic expression is essential for healing and personal growth. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches including Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Angie received her first MA in Human Services from Liberty University and her second Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She also has worked in an inpatient residential facility with adolescents, worked with college students, and provided member care for missionaries and cross-cultural workers. Other clinical experience includes couples and family therapy and working with those who have experienced spiritual/religious abuse.
Outside the therapy room, Angie loves being outdoors, running, or enjoying a cup of coffee with friends or alone with a good book.
